Die Autorin verfolgt die Entwicklung der Beziehung der Herrscher Böhmens und des Heiligen Römischen Reiches und ihrer politischen Repräsentationen von den Anfängen des böhmischen Staates bis zum Anfang des 14. Jahrhunderts und seine Reflexion in den historiographischen Quellen vom Anfang des 12. Jahrhunderts bis zum Ende der Přemyslidenzeit (Cosmas, Die Chronik der Böhmen, das Werk des Ersten Fortsetzers des Cosmas, Gradisch-Opatowitzer Annalen, Jahrbücher des Prager Domherren Vincentius, Die Chronik des Mönchs von Sázava, Jahrbücher des Abts von Milevsko Jarloch, Die zweite Fortsetzung des Cosmas, Alttschechische Chronik des sog. Dalimil). Zugleich die Studie bringt die Analyse des politischen Denkens der mittelalterlichen Intellektuellen in den böhmischen Ländern der přemyslidischen Zeit.

The author deals with the development of the relations between the rulers of Bohemia and Holy Roman Empire and their political representatives from the formation of the Bohemian state to the beginning of the 14th century, and with their reflection of these relations in the Bohemian historical writing from the oldest work of the first quarter of 12th century to the end of the Přemyslides time (The Chronicle of the Czechs by Cosmas of Prague, the work of the First Continuator of Cosmas, Annales Gradicenses et Opatovicenses, Annals written by the Prague canon Vincentius and the continuation of these annals by Jarloch, the abbot of Milevsko, Chronicon Monachi Sazaviensis, Second Continuation of Cosmas, Old Czech Chronicle by the so-called Dalimil). In addition, the article offers an analysis of the political thought of the intellectuals at the Bohemian Lands in the Přemyslide time.
