Der Aufsatz widmet sich aufgrund unedierten Quellen der Umwändlungen der Kommunitäten der Zisterzienserinnenklöster (vor allem der Oberlausitz, aber mit Berücksichtigung der böhmischen Klöster) in der 2. Hälfte des 17. und 1. Hälfte des 18. Jahrhundertsvor allem aus der quantitativen Sicht. Weiter studiert er die Mechanismen der Auswahl der einzelnen Nonnen und analysiert, welche Eigenschaften für die Kandidatinnen des Ordenslebens wichtig waren.

The article, based on unpublished sources, deals with the transformations of the personnel of the cloisters of Cistercian nuns (above all Upper Lusatia, but taking into consideration also the cloisters of Bohemia) in the second half od 17th and the firsthalf of 18th century, notably from the quantitative point of view, and observes the mechanisms of chosing of nuns and which qualities were important for the candidates of the monastic life.
