This study opens the historiographical part of the historical review Prager wirtschafts- und sozialhistorische Mitteilungen, Vol. 18. Its author tries to contribute to a new discussion about a topic of the modern historiography in the Bohemian [Czech] lands. He considers the period 1848 -1948 is the most important time for such a type of research and guess concept of the play between scientific, socio / cultural, political and ideological positions can be helpful for the explanation of the writing fashion about the past by different historians in this territory
