Dit artikel stelt één aspect van het dissertatieonderzoek van Iva Rezková voor. Het is een studie van één vorm van taalcontact in het hedendaags Nederlands: 'intrasententiële codewisseling' tussen het Nederlands en het Engels. Het onderzoek neemt een puur grammaticale richting en analyseert de structuur van tweetalige zinnen. Het doel van dit artikel is om een aantal algemene theorieën te presenteren met betrekking tot de morfologie van intrasententiële codewisseling. Vervolgens wordt een schriftelijk corpus met 450 voorbeelden van Nederlands-Engelse codewisseling beschreven en geanalyseerd, namelijk vanuit een morfologische invalshoek. De bedoeling is om na te gaan of de waarnemingen aan de hand van het samengesteld corpus overeenkomen met de algemenegrammaticale theorieën met betrekking tot codewisselingsstructuur.

This article presents one aspect from the dissertation of Iva Rezková. It is a study of one type of language contact typical of current Dutch: intrasentential code switching between Dutch and English. The research took a strictly grammatical approach andwas focused on the structure of Dutch sentences containing switched English elements. The aim of this article is to summarize the general theory about code switching morphology, and then to describe morphological aspects observed in a linguistic corpuswhich contains 450 examples of Dutch-English code switching.
