Die Studie beschäftigt sich mit der Äbtissin Anastasia Rösler und mit den verschiedenen Quellen zu ihrer Wirkung, vor allem mit den Briefen und historiographischen Quellen. Dabei entsteht ein Bild des klösterlichen Alltag in der barocken Zeit und der Beziehungen zwischen Männern und Frauen in diesem Milieu.
