This study is based on an analysis of selected written sources of the Old Kingdom coming from the Memphite area: the Palermo Stone, papyri from Abusir, seal impressions and South Saqqara List. Furthermore, Gebelein papyri are also included, as a sample of provincial documents. The paper provides us with interesting and significant information concerning various gods of solar religion.
