La participation politique des femmes au sein du mouvement pro-kurde en Turquie

L'importante participation des femmes au sein des partis pro-kurdes constitue un marqueur clair qui les distingue des autres formations politiques en Turquie. A la différence des autres forces politiques, les femmes dans les partis pro-kurdes sont en effet représentées a chaque échelon de la hiérarchie partisane et ont un poids réel dans les mécanismes de la prise de décision. Le but de cet article est d'expliquer ce choix politique et d'en identifier les racines . Il étudie tout d'abord l'articulation entre la répression étatique vécue dans la région du sud-est de la Turquie par plusieurs générations et la politisation des femmes, qui produit une réserve de candidates susceptibles de participer a la vie politique (I). Ensuite, l'engagement féminin en politique est analysé a travers la multiplication des espaces disponibles pour l'expression politique des femmes au sein du mouvement pro-kurde (II).

The important participation of women within the pro-Kurdish parties distinguishes them from other political forces in Turkey. In contrast with other political parties, women in pro-Kurdish parties are present at all levels of party hierarchy and have the ability to weight within the decision-making processes. The objective of this article is to explain this political choice as well as to contextualize it and determine its roots. The article first looks into the articulation between state repression in south-eastern Turkey experienced by several generations of women and their politicization. Then, it analyses women's political involvement with regards to the multiplication of spaces open to women in the pro-Kurdish movement.
