Vor dem Hintergrund des geheimen Deals zwischen AP und NS-Deutschland während des ZweitenWeltkrieges, der erst Anfang 2017 vom Autor aufgedeckt wurde, fordert der Essay eine vollständige Digitalisierung der NS-Presse. Eine derartige Verflechtung, die bis heute Auswirkungen hat, wäre nicht so lange unentdeckt geblieben, wenn die NS-Presse leichter für Wissenschaft und allgemeine Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gewesen wäre.

Against the background of the secret deal between AP and Nazi Germany during the Second World War, which was discovered by the author in early 2017, the essay asks for a complete digitisation of the National Socialist press. A collaboration like this, with an impact on our contemporary media system, would have been discovered much earlier if the National Socialist press had been available easier for both academia and the broad public.
