Über Hegels Heuchler: seichtes Denken und verborgenes Böses

Die Verfasserin befasst sich mit dem Begriff des Bösen bei Hegel. Zunächst untersucht sie Hegels logischen Begriff des Bösen, sie geht also auf die Eigenheit Hegels ein, dass das Böse u.a. eine Kategorie der Logik ist. Das Schwergewicht des Textes liegt jedoch im Begriff des Bösen so, wie in Hegels Grundlinien aufgefasst. Hierbei wird wesentlich, dass Hegel zwei Spielarten des Bösen kennt, das antike einerseits und das moderne andererseits. Als Verkörperung des modernen Bösen gilt ihm die Gestalt des Heuchlers, auf die die Verfasserin eingeht. Der Heuchler ist für Hegel deshalb so wesentlich, weil er eine Kommunikationverweigerung darstellt und damit den Vertrauensverlust in der modernen Gesellschaft verkörpert.

The author deals with the concept of evil in Hegel. First, she examines Hegel&apos;s logical concept of evil, thus she addresses Hegel&apos;s peculiarity that evil is, among other things, a category of logic. The emphasis of the text, however, is on the concept of evil as conceived in Hegel&apos;s Groundworks. Here it becomes essential that Hegel knows two varieties of evil, the ancient on the one hand and the modern on the other. The embodiment of modern evil for him is the figure of the hypocrite, which the author discusses. The hypocrite is so essential for Hegel because he represents a refusal to communicate and thus embodies the loss of trust in modern society.
