Zu den wichtigsten Quellen, die aus der Inhaltsperspektive für die Geschichte der Juden in Böhmen sowie für ihre wirtschaftliche und soziale Stellung während der Frühen Neuzeit von wesentlicher Bedeutung sind, zählen die Konskriptionen jüdischer Familien und Familianten. Die Sammlung ist zur Zeit unter dem Titel Soupisy Židů im Nationalarchiv Prag [Národní archiv Praha] aufbewahrt und bedeckt die Zeitspanne von der Hälfte der 20er Jahre des 18. Jahrhunderts (mit Übergang vom 17. Jahrhundert) hin bis zum Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts. Mit Rücksicht auf ihren Charakter und Umfang stellen die Konskriptionen eine einzigartige Quelle zur Untersuchung der jüdischen Geschichte in Böhmen zu dieser Zeit.Sie vermitteln Informationen bezüglich der eigenen Besiedlung und Bevölkerung der Juden und der jüdischen Familianten der einzelnen Provenienzen in einer konkreten Zeit, sie bieten ebenfalls Einsicht in die Struktur der Familien, in ihre Größe, den Lebensunterhalt und nicht zuletzt in einigen Fällen auch in die Höhe des Steuerabzugs; im Falle der jüngsten Einträge werden auch die Informationen über Hochzeitsgenehmigungen angeführt. Deswegen wurde eine Edition vorbereitet.

Among the most important sources are the conscriptions of Jewish families and familiants which are essential from a content perspective for the history of the Jews in Bohemia as well as for their economic and social position during the early modern period. The collection is currently preserved under the title Soupisy Židů in the National Archives Prague [Národní archiv Praha] and covers the period from the half of the 1920s (with transition from the 17th century) to the beginning of the 19th century. Considering their character and scope the conscriptions constitute a unique source for the study of Jewish history in Bohemia at that time.
