Die Studie ist eine Fortsetzung des bereits veröffentlichten Aufsatzes über die Entwicklung der böhmischen Krone unter Luxemburg (in: Blätter für deutsche Landesgeschichte, Bd. 157, 2021). Im Mittelpunkt stehen die wiederholten Krisen der Böhmischen Krone nach der Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts und Überlegungen zu ihrer Bewältigung. Trotz aller Umwälzungen und Veränderungen hörte die Böhmische Krone nicht auf zu existieren. Auch die böhmischen Stände beanspruchten sie und nahmen die Erhaltung der Integrität der Böhmischen Krone in ihr Programm auf. Als politisch-territoriale Vereinigung unter der Herrschaft des böhmischen Königs trat die Böhmische Krone in die frühe Neuzeit ein.

The study is a continuation of the already published essay on the development of the Bohemian Crown under Luxembourg (in: Blätter für deutsche Landesgeschichte, Bd. 157, 2021). It focuses on the repeated crises that befell the Bohemian Crown after the mid-15th century and reflects on how to overcome them. Despite all the upheavals and changes, the Bohemian Crown did not cease to exist. The Bohemian Estates also claimed it and included the preservation of the integrity of the Bohemian Crown in their programme. As a political-territorial union under the rule of the Bohemian king, the Bohemian Crown entered the early modern period.
