L'article s'intéresse aux dimensions éthiques et esthétiques de la vengeance dans les récitsféministes français sur le viol et la violence patriarcale. Les récits de Marcia Burnier, LesOrageuses (2020), et d'Alexandre Civico, Dolorès, ou le ventre des chiens (2024), sont lus a lalumière de l'essai autothéorique King King Théorie (2006) de Virginie Despentes. Les textesvisent a restaurer la subjectivité politique de la protagoniste essentiellement vulnérable. L'acte dela vengeance, contrairement a sa conceptualisation historiquement genrée (elle esttraditionnellement liée a l'explosion incontrôlée et irrationnelle des émotions et des passions),représente un moyen d'agentivité politique. Par conséquent, nous considérons la vengeancecomme un terrain de réflexion sur les concepts butleriens, tels que la vulnérabilité, l'agentivité etla responsabilité politique. Les récits donnent un aperçu révélateur de l'aspect relationnel de cesconcepts. Le corps de la femme, constamment exposé a la violence (( intime }}, est conçu dans sadimension politique pour mieux faire entrevoir la réalité sociale de la violence sexuelle. Lavengeance se construit ainsi comme une réponse engagée, voire une machine de guerre contrel'ordre phallocratique.

The following article examines the ethical and aesthetic dimensions of revenge in Frenchfeminist narratives on patriarchal violence such as rape and incest. We read Marcia Burnier's LesOrageuses (2020) and Alexandre Civico's Dolorès, ou le ventre des chiens (2024) through thelens of Virginie Despentes's autotheoretical essay King King Théorie (2006). Each text aims torestore political agency to a vulnerate woman protagonist. The act of revenge, contrary to itshistorically gendered conceptualization (traditionally linked to the uncontrolled and irrationaloutburst of emotions and passions), represents in the narratives a means of politicalempowerment. Therefore, we consider the revenge as the ground to reflect upon Butler'sconcepts of vulnerability, agency and political responsibility. The narratives provide a revealinginsight into the relational aspect of these concepts. The woman's body, constantly exposed tointimate assault, is conceived in its political dimension to better provide insight into the socialreality of sexual violence. Revenge stands for a committed response, functioning as a warmachine against the phallocratic order.
