It presents the legislative framework and definition of a veteran, reflects various aspects of care for war veterans and the risks they potentially face. It summarizes the various types of support that are offered to veterans by state and non-state components and adds to the context public opinion related to the armed forces in Czech society. In conclusion, it defines the areas that need to be focused on in the future.
