The article critically analyzes the latest biography of B. Mikulić, one of the most important politicians of socialist Yugoslavia. The author focuses on the heuristic, interpretative, and methodological aspects of the reviewed book. In addition to criticisms directed at the work with sources and the structure of the book, the author of the review generally praised the detailed treatment of Mikulić's fate. This is an important contribution to the history of the political elites of socialist Yugoslavia in the period from the 1960s to the end of the 1980s.
