La République tch?que a traversé, pendant les vingt derni?res années, de grandes modifications sociales. Grâce a la rédaction et a l'adoption d'un nouveau code civil, nous nous rangeons parmi les pays les plus m?rs d'Europe, dans le domaine du droit privé aussi. Le projet du nouveau code civil met l'accent d'une part, sur notre tradition juridique démocratique et d'autre part, sur les principes et les standards du droit privé européen. Ce projet influence la vie de tous les citoyens tch?ques pour les dix ans a venir. Le projet de code civil est rattaché a la Charte des droits fondamentaux et des libertés fondamentales et a d'autres accords internationaux et apporte une conception nouvelle et différente du droit civil, en tant que syst?me de valeur dansle domaine du droit privé.

Czech Republic has undergone over the past two decades, major social changes. During the development and adoption of the new Civil Code, we are among the more developed countries of Europe, in private law as well. The project of the new Civil Code is based on the one hand, of our democratic and legal traditions on the other side of the principles and norms of European private law. This project will affect the lives of all citizens of the Czech Republic for ten years. Draft Civil Code is attached to theCharter of Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and other international agreements, and offers new and different civil law, as the value system of private law.
