The article considers the existing classification of such financial disciplines as financial science, financial policy and financial law theory. It highlights the interconnectedness of their historical development and explains the need for a multidisciplinary approach to the given area of the Czech legal system that is growing particularly important in terms of the process of its harmonization with the EU law.
