This paper deals with Czech responses to the coronavirus pandemic with special attention to labour law protection and social security measures adopted. It focuses also on some case law, which demonstrates that some measures were adopted in a chaotic and not fully accurate way. Still, it concludes that the social reaction of the Czech Republic to the pandemic was in general efficient.
