The introductory part of the book describes the changing role courts in Central Europe over the last several decades. Furthermore it describes the overall structure of the book and overview of its individual chapters. The book focuses first on theoretical and doctrinal foundations of judicial law-making in Central European countries and second on pro-systemic and anti-systemic effects of judge made-law and judicial interpretation.
