Ondřej Klípa unternimmt den Versuch einer Typologisierung von Migrationsbewegungen polnischer Bürger in das benachbarte Deutschland im Kontext des polnischen EU-Beitritts. Im Fokus steht die Frage nach Charakteristiken und Dynamiken sowie die mögliche Zuordnung dieser Migration zum theoretischen Modell der sogenannten flüchtigen Migration (""liquid migration""). Unter Berücksichtigung der spezifischen Merkmale flüchtiger Migration sowie der konkreten Auswirkungen von Migrationsbewegungen von Polen nachDeutschland auf die demographische Entwicklung beider Länder gelingt es Klípa, eine Kategorisierung dieser Migrationsströme herauszuarbeiten. Klípa zeigt, dass das in der letzter Zeit oft untersuchte Phänomen der flüchtigen Migration auf die Migration von Polen nach Deutschland seit dem polnischen EU-Beitritt nicht ohne Vorbehalte anwendbar ist. Betont wird hingegen die Annäherung der untersuchten polnischen Migration nach Deutschland an die klassischen Migrationsmodelle.

The aim of the chapter is to place Polish migration to Germany after the accession to the EU in the migration typology. Particular attention is paid to the newly described type of ""liquid migration"". Thus, the features of the Polish migration to Germany are examined in context of the liquid migration. Legal, demographic, and cultural aspect of the migration are studied. It is argued that unlike to Polish migration to some other states of the EU the migration to Germany does not fit into the concept ofliquid migration.
