Le présent livre tente de contribuer a la recherche d'une réponse complexe a la question de savoir comment penser le visible aujourd'hui ; et comment penser son partage. Pour élaborer cette réponse, le probl?me a été resitué dans le débat autour de la représentation et mis en corrélation avec un questionnement de la visualité ; cette derni?re étant entendue comme l'un des enjeux de la philosophie politique contemporaine. La méthode mise en oeuvre consiste a repenser la conception philosophique de la représentation formulée par Michel Foucault et reprise par Jacques Ranci?re. L'enjeu principal est de proposer un nouveau mode d'analyse des énoncés (textes expliquant les images légitimement visibles) et des visibilités (images sélectionnées en tant qu'illustrations pertinentes des textes) au niveau des archives. This monograph contributes to the research of a complex problem: how to study image today; and how to think its sharing. To elaborate an answer to this question, the problem was situated in a discussion about the representation and put in a connection with a triple questioning - ontological, axiological and epistemological - of the sharing of the visible, which is understood as one of the problems of the contemporary political philosophy. The method, which is used, consists to analyze the statements (texts explaining the legitimately visible images) and the visibilities (images chosen as appropriate illustrations of the texts) in the field of the archive.
