Remus Gabriel Anghel je rumunský sociolog a antropolog se specializací na migraci, transnacionální migraci a globalizaci. V roce 2009 úspěšně dokončil doktorské studium na Fakultě sociologie na Bielefeldské univerzitě a v současnosti působí na Katedře politických věd Univerzity Babeş-Bolyai v rumunském městě Cluj-Napoca (česky Kluž) a v Rumunském institutu pro výzkum národnostních minorit v témže městě. Anglicky psaná publikace s názvem Romanians in western Europe je vlastně autorovou dizertační prací av pořadí druhou Anghelovou monografií. Již v roce 2008 vydal knihu s názvem The making of worlds society: Perspective from transnational research. V roce 2009 pak společně s Istvánem Horváthem vydal rumunsky psanou publikaci Sociologia migraţiei: Teoriişi studii de caz românesţi. Anghel se věnuje migraci Rumunů, reemigraci rumunských Němců a nejnověji také migraci rumunských Chorvatů.

Remus Gabriel Anghel is a Romanian sociologist and anthropologist, his research aim is migration, transnational migration and globalization. He successfully passed his doctoral studies at the Faculty of sociology of Bielefeld University and he currentlyworks at the Department of political sciences of Babeş-Bolyai University and at the Romanian Institute for national minority research, both in in Romanian town called Cluj-Napoca. English written publication called Romanians in western Europe is author'sdissertation work and the second Anghel's monography. He publicated book called The making of worlds society: Perspective from transnational research in 2008 and together with István Horváth publicated Sociologia migraţiei: Teorii şi studii de caz românesţi in 2009. Anghel research interests are aimed at the migration of Romanians, remigration of Romanian Germans and recently also migation of Romanian Croats.
