Eine literarische und thematische Analyse des Tempels in Jerusalem in den Büchern der Könige in Verbindung mit materieller Kultur und laufenden archäologischen Forschungen bietet neue Perspektiven auf traditionelle Paradigmen, darunter die These von der Kontinuität des heiligen Ortes an einem Standort, insbesondere auf dem Tempelberg. Die Studie stellt die Hypothese auf, dass dies bis zum Ende des 9. Jahrhunderts v. Chr. nicht der Fall war.

A literary and thematic analysis of the temple in Jerusalem in the Books of Kings, in conjunction with material culture and ongoing archaeological research, offers new perspectives on traditional paradigms, one of which is the thesis of the continuity of the holy place in one location, specifically on the Temple Mount. The study presents the hypothesis that this was not the case until the end of the 9th century BCE.
