Authors try to design an alternative method as to how to count irregular migrants on the example of Prague. The method is based on a comparison of data coming from existing population register which are juxtaposed to another data base which originated via an observation of reality in the field. The number of "irregular migrants" is represented by those who were staying in a particular house/appartment without being registered.
