Periodicity in the life of plants and animals is considered to be an indirect indicator for the periodicity in the climate. Many studies examining the impacts of global warming on terrestrial ecosystems reveal a consistent pattern of change, the responseto warming by phenological change across the northern hemisphere seems to be especially well documented .The CHMI phenological network comprises 24 species of wood plants and 21 species of herbs observed at forest phenological stations including cocks foot (Dactylis glomerata). In this paper we have examined inflorescence emergence (BBCH 51), beginning of flowering 10% (BBCH 61) and end of flowering (BBCH 69) of cocks foot from selected stations at different elevation. Data were executed in MS Excel andby using of GIS method (Clidata-DEM) from 45 phenological stations in the period 1991-2010.Meteorological conditions (temperature and precipitation) at Lednice (165 masl) and Pernink (860 masl) stations were compiled together with data o
