Segmentation of an object space by binary radiation sensors and geometric reference structures is considered as a function of sensor and reference structure complexity. The sensor code realized under point object excitation is defined as the signature. Bounds on the number of sensor signatures realized under point source excitation are presented and it is shown that almost any family of signatures can be implemented under this model.
