The purpose of this chapters to give the reader a brief overview of the methods used in the mathematical modeling of the atmospheric processes. The field of atmospheric processes comprises a relatively broad spectrum of physical problems from classical hydrodynamics or, better, aerodynamics, to quantum physics when one is speaking about Solar radiation problems, mathematics and, first of all, numerical mathematics, chemistry, computer sciences and also such branches as hydrology, geology, geography or biology.
