Odd powers of the Dirac operator are conformally invariant, if the conformal weight of the field is chosen appropriately. In the paper, it is shown how to use the invariance properties of the kernel of powers of the Dirac operator to deduce in a simple way the statement of the (generalized) Fueter theorem.
