We present our initial steps towards a linguistic processing of texts to detect semantic relations in them. Our work is an essential part of the INTLIB project whose aim is to provide a more efficient and user-friendly tool for querying textual documentsother than full-text search. This tool is proposed as a general framework which can be modified and extended for particular data domains. Currently, we focus on Czech legal texts.
