The thesis deals with the Jurists' Forums that took place in the Czech lands and Slovakia especially in the first half of the 20th century. It focuses on their historical development with an emphasis on their purposes and mechanisms of functioning, thus contributing to the understanding of this form of meeting of lawyers today, especially in the context of the renewed Forum of Czech Jurists in 2022. Besides the national Jurists' Forums, the thesis also deals with partial Jurists’ Forums from the interwar period of Czechoslovakia such as the Jurists’ Forums of Slovak and German Lawyers
