This paper presents the preliminary results of an ongoing study on the diachronic and synchronic use of multiword expressions (MWEs) in Egyptian, begun when I joined the COST Action Universality, Diversity and Idiosyncrasy in Language Technology (UniDive, CA21167). It analyzes, as a case study, Old Egyptian body part MWEs baThis paper presents the preliminary results of an ongoing study on the diachronic and synchronic use of multiword expressions (MWEs) in Egyptian, begun when I joined the COST Action Universality, Diversity and Idiosyncrasy in Language Technology (UniDive, CA21167).
