Musei d'arte collaborano con le universita : Alcuni esempi dalla Repubblica Ceca

La cooperazione tra le istituzioni museali (musei d'arte e gallerie) a le universita risale gia al XIX secolo, per esempio il Museo austriaco per l'arte e l'industria (oggi MAK) di Vienna, dove il fondatore del museo, Rudolf Eitelberger von Edelberg, nativo di Olomouc, il primo professore di storia dell'arte all'Universita di Vienna, faceva lezione agli studenti direttamente nel museo. Era nata così la necessita di ricongiungere a livello teorico l'opera d'arte con il suo ambiente originale. Ecco gli due esempi di riuscita collaborazione che riguardano la Repubblica Ceca: un esempio più distante nel tempo e uno non troppo lontano. Il primo esempio che riporto è la riuscita collaborazione tra la Galleria Nazionale di Praga e l'Universita di Trieste in occasione della mostra Tesori di Praga - La pittura veneta del '600 e del '700 dalle collezioni nella Repubblica Ceca, al Castello di Miramare di Trieste nel 1997. Il secondo esempio è la mostra Ultimi fiori del Medioevo - Dal gotico al Rinascimento nella Moravia e nella Slesia, il contributo della Repubblica Ceca alle celebrazioni del Giubileo 2000 a Roma e in Vaticano ed è stata attuata con la collaborazione di tre istituzioni: l'Universita Palacký di Olomouc, il Museo d'arte di Olomouc e il Museo Nazionale del Palazzo di Venezia a Roma. Nuove possibilita di collaborazione vengono offerte dall'attuale sviluppo delle tecnologie digitali e dal rapido progresso degli strumenti e dei metodi di ricerca fisica e chimica, riscontrabili anche nella maggiore precisione della ricerca tecnologico-restaurativa. Ancor maggiore enfasi verra posta sulla collaborazione tra universita e museo in occasione del progetto europeo in fase di preparazione Arteca, che colleghera l'Universita Palacký di Olomouc, il Museo d'arte di Olomouc, l'Universita Sapienza di Roma e l'Istituto Superiore per la Conservazione ed il Restauro a Roma.

Cooperation between museum institutions (art museums and galleries) and universities dates back to the 19th century, for example the Austrian Museum for Art and Industry (now MAK) in Vienna, where the founder of the museum, Rudolf Eitelberger von Edelberg, a native of Olomouc, the first professor of art history at the University of Vienna, lectured students directly in the museum. Thus was born the need to reunite the work of art with its original environment on a theoretical level. Here are the two examples of successful collaboration concerning the Czech Republic: an example more distant in time and one not too far away. The first example that I report is the successful collaboration between the National Gallery of Prague and the University of Trieste on the occasion of the exhibition Treasures of Prague - Venetian painting of the '600 and' 700 from the collections in the Czech Republic, at Miramare Castle in Trieste in 1997. The second example is the exhibition Last flowers of the Middle Ages - From the Gothic to the Renaissance in Moravia and Silesia, the contribution of the Czech Republic to the celebrations of the Jubilee 2000 in Rome and the Vatican and was implemented with the collaboration of three institutions : Palacký University of Olomouc, the Olomouc Art Museum and the National Museum of the Palace of Venice in Rome. New possibilities of collaboration are offered by the current development of digital technologies and by the rapid progress of physical and chemical research tools and methods, also found in the greater precision of technological-restorative research. Even greater emphasis will be placed on the collaboration between the university and the museum on the occasion of the European project "Arteca", which will connect the Palacký University of Olomouc, the Art Museum of Olomouc, the Sapienza University of Rome and the Istituto Superiore for Conservation and Restoration in Rome.
