These seniors underwent functional geriatric testing (MMSE, ADL, IADL, Geriatric Depression Scale). The history of patients and their medications were considered, hematology and biochemistry examinations were performed. Data were analyzed by statistical methods Student T-test, chi quadrate test, regression analysis. Results: We examined alltogether 147 seniors (55 men and92 women) of average age 72,8+6,29 years ranging 65-98 years. The criteria of MS fulfilled 23 patients, 15,7% of studied group according to IDF definition.
