A la recherche de la circulation d'un néologisme identitaire: le cas de bolos

L'article présente les résultats d'une recherche quantitative aupres d'une douzaine de miliers de Français quant a la connaissance du néologisme 'bolos'. Ce lexeme s'avere etre un symbole identitaire pour la jeunesse de la banlieue parisienne et, récemment, pour toute la jeune génération, avec des glissements sémantiques considérables. Ce travail permet de relier nos résultats avec la théorie de la diffusion des innovations de Rogers.

This article presents the results of a quantitative research of identitary neologism 'bolos' that was first used in youth suburban slang and now spreads in whole young generation, together with a important sense changes. This analysis let us to compare our results with the Rogers's theory of the diffusion of innovations.
