This article aims to deal with one of the important areas of the historiography in the Czech Republic ? the research the Reformation . The attitudes of the Czech historiography to this topic are introduced briefly. As the research subject, the Reformation history of the royal town Jihlava are examined. In the next part the research questions, theoretical base and primary sources are mentioned.
