The paper deals with the question of development of Indo-Euroepan guturals: the used method consideres and demonstrates that in origin were both labiovelar and palatalover series in a relation to plain velar series of the type which Trubetzkoy described as related series, this is demonstrated on examples of alternations between given guttural series.
