Der Schwerpunkt dieser sigillographischen Studie liegt in Siegel, die mit der jüdischen Gemeinde der südmährischen Stadt Dambořice (Damboritz) verbunden sind. In erster Linie werden die Siegel der jüdischen Gemeinde und dann die Siegel und Stempel der israelitische Judengemeinde von der Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts bis die 1940er Jahre betrachtet. Dazu werden die Siegel und Stempel von Rabbinern, jüdischen Standesämtern und jüdischen Schulen untersucht - Bereiche, in denen die vorhandene Literatur unerforscht geblieben ist. Aus dieser Sicht ist diese Studie als erster Schritt in diese Problematik zu betrachten. Es gliedert sich in zwei Teile, nämlich eine theoretische Einführung und einen Katalog bisher bekannter Stempel und Siegel aus Dambořice. Der Katalog enthält auch mehrere private Siegel von Juden, die sich seit Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts in Dambořice niedergelassen hatten.

The focus of this sigillographical study is on seals that are related to the Jewish community in the small town of Damborice (Ger. Damboritz) in southern Moravia. First and foremost, it looks at the seals of the Jewish community and later the seals and stamps of the Jewish religious community from the mid-18th century to the 1940s. In addition, it examines the seals and stamps of rabbis, Jewish registry offices and Jewish schools - areas that existing literature has left largely unexplored. From this point of view, this study should be regarded as a first step in this question. It is divided into two parts, namely a theoretical introduction and a catalogue of hitherto known stamps and seals from Damborice. The catalogue also includes several private seals of Jews who had settled in Damborice from the mid-18th century.
