Mijn bijdrage getiteld “Het beeld van Nederland in de contemporaine Britse roman” is gericht op het beeld van Nederland en Nederlanders in de Britse romans vanaf het jaar 1990. Met het behulp van de theorieën van imagologie en geocriticism is het mijn doel om een beeld te schetsen van hoe Nederlands wordt geportretteerd in het buitenlandse literatuur.

My paper titled “The Image of the Netherlands in the Contemporary British Novel” is focused on the image of the Netherlands and the Dutch in the British novels since 1990. With the help of the theories of imagology and geocriticism, the work aims to put together an overview of how The Netherlands is portrayed in foreign literature.
