Die Präsentation fasste die wichtigsten Ergebnisse und Schlussfolgerungen der auf der Konferenz gehaltenen Vorträge zusammen. Es wurde der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit sich die einzelnen Fallstudien in das zu Beginn der Konferenz vorgestellte theoretische Konzept der langfristigen Konflikte einfügen und ob dieses Konzept möglicherweise in einigen Punkten erweitert oder modifiziert werden sollte.
