This short text presents a brief overview of the inventories of the library of the Sedlec monastery near Kutná Hora, which are stored in the Abbey archives in Klosterneuburg. These inventories are a crucial source for the medieval history of the Sedlec library and its content, as it is not extant at present. We are dependent on only a few manuscripts, fragments and prints. It is the inventories that constitute important sources for research on the medieval book collections that have not survived. The inventories also provide information on the use and influence of the Sedlec manuscripts during their exile on book production in Klosterneuburg.
