The concept of criminal liability of legal entities in the Republic of Macedonia was introduced in 2004. This article presents an overview of the reasons for such legislative move,it analyzes the most important provisions stipulated in the Criminal Codeand the Code of Criminal Procedure, provides a summary of international standards in relation to the topic and presents the current situation concerning the actual implementation.
