With an increasing use of the Internet and new technologies, copyright infringement became easier and even multistate infringements may appear. If legal relationships contain cross border elements, we must deal i.a. with the question of applicable law. The presentation focuses on the determination of applicable law in these situations and it above all analyses the suitability of lex loci protectionis rule for these cases and its possible alternatives.
