The chapter compares the campaigns and the results of the 2019 European Parliament elections in East-Central Europe. The authors focus on the performance and impact of soft and hard Eurosceptic parties. The authors show that soft and hard Euroscepticism can be no more treated as two versions of the same position. Especially the soft Eurosceptic category needs some modified definition since the moderate critique of European Union has penetrated the pro-integration mainstream parties as well.
