Flow cytometry measurements confirmed the occurrence of Polypodium x mantoniae (P. interjectum x P. vulgare) in three localities from the eastern part of the Czech Republic (Blansko and Rudice North of Brno and Javoříčko WNW of Olomouc). Nuclear DNA contents (&plusmn; Sx) were determined for P. vulgare (2C=29.00 &plusmn; 0.32 pg), P. x mantoniae (2C=37.18 &plusmn; 0.38 pg) and P. interjectum (2C=45.24 &plusmn; 0.31 pg) by a PAS Partec GmbH flow cytometer (PI staining / standard Vicia faba, 2C=26.9 pg).The relative DNA content ratio was measured between all pairs of taxa (plus minus Sx range) P. vulgare : P. x mantoniae = 0.746 plus minus 0.005; P. vulgare : P. interjectum = 0.595 plus minus 0.001; P. x mantoniae : P. vulgare = 1.340 plus minus 0.008;P. x mantoniae : P. interjectum = 0.797 plus minus 0.005; P. interjectum : P. vulgare = 1.681 plus minus 0.003; P. interjectum : P. x mantoniae = 1.255 plus minus 0.008.
