Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This annual report of Slovakian Arthroplasty Register (SAR) is an official document dealing with all arthroplasty procedures performed in Slovakia from January 1st until December 30th, 2010. During the observed period 4,970 primary arthroplasties and 457revision arthroplasties were performed. In the hip joint section, it evaluates data from 40 orthopaedic and traumatology departments in 2010, the incidence of primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) was 91.42 per 100,000 inhabitants. From the year 2003, when the incidence was 39.39 per 100,000 inhabitants, the percentage growth has been 232%. In 2010, the revision rate reached 9.20%, representing annual increase of 1.1%.
