The aim of this study was to make a subsidence and thermal history model of the Slušovice 1 borehole, which is situated in area of the Rača unit in the Outer Western Carpathians. The model of subsidence and thermal history was created base on the Slušovice 1 borehole sedimentary profile by Krejčí et al. (1988) and Vizovice Highlands regional geology development according to Pícha et al. (2006).The model of subsidence and thermal history was created using PetroMod 1D software (Schlumberger), version 2013.2. The vitrinite reflectance data and the temperature data measured during pumping tests were used as calibration parameters. All these data originate from MND, a.s. archive. To sum up, 26 values of the vitrinite reflectance and 10 values of temperaturewere available. The reliability of resulting model was verified by comparing measured values with model ones.
