Mokrsko Gold Deposit: Cathodoluminescence Textures of Hydrothermal Quartz, Fluorite and Geochronology ? Supporting Evidence for Intrusion Related Gold Deposit
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Mokrsko gold deposit with its 100 t of reserves can be ranked among the most important gold deposits in the Europe. Although the intensive exploration works took place at the deposit, the origin of the deposit is still not completely resolved. Aim of theresearch, presented in this abstract, is to use a combination of modern analytical methods (including cathodoluminescence) allowing detailed analysis of ore-bearing hydrothermal quartz and contribute to the issue of the genesis of the deposit. Cathodoluminescence studies of samples from the deposit showed, that hydrothermal quartz has several generations, which point to changes of crystallization conditions during mineralizing events. First two generations of the quartz show partially preserved growthzoning and third generation recrystallization of fissures in veins.
