Forensic-Ready Analysis Suite (FREAS) provides support in designing forensic-ready software. It is composed of two components. First, a graphical editor for creating system models in BPMN4FRSS notation. Second, an analyser utilising Z3 solver for satisfiability checking of formulas derived from the models. The analysis focuses on the models' validity, provides targeted hints to enhance forensic readiness capabilities, and allows for what-if analysis of potential evidence quality.

Forensic-Ready Analysis Suite (FREAS) combines tools for software modelling and subsequent analysis of the models. Thus, it provides a unified graphical interface for creating or modifying BPMN4FRSS models (extension of BPMN) and their analysis based on the Z3 solver. The separation of modules allows for the inclusion of other model analysis methods into the suite, which can be operated from the unified interface. Software is distributed as open-source under MIT licence; the owner of the result is Masaryk University, IČO 00216224. The main contribution of the software is to support the design of forensic-ready software, bridge the knowledge gap, and enable forensic readiness to a broader audience. It eases the creation of BPMN4FRSS models, for which no dedicated tool existed, barring simple diagramming. Furthermore, the model analysis methods assist in the timely detection of design issues. Thus, it contributes to the more seamless adoption of forensic-ready systems and ultimately reduces expenses when implementing forensic readiness.
