In 2005 an anonymous research was carried out questioning a pilot population sample of more than 300 students of two faculties MU (pedagogical and medical). It investigated the consummation of permitted and unpermitted addictive substances, selected addictive behavior, opinions and attitudes to drugs and social-economical status of respondents. This was a level of a representative study, which was carried out in 2006. Three quarters of the respondents had some experience with tobacco, more than three quarters regularly consume alcohol. Other often-used drugs were marihuana products. Approximately 40 % gained some experience with hashish, 10 % had smoked it with the last six month before the research. Lifelong experience with hashish was presented by 10% of the respondents; in the previous six months about 4 % of the respondents have consumed it.
