Addictive Behavior of Full-time Students at Masaryk University and Options in its Prevention

They are presented the results of three research projects. The research was conducted using anonymous questionnaire studies on habit-forming substances, risk behavior based on so-called virtual addictions and their prevention in samples of full-time students at Masaryk University. The results of the first study showed that among nearly 10,000 respondents are the most frequent substance abuse alcohol, tobacco, black coffee, cannabinoids, to a lesser extent, hallucinogens, depressants and dance drugs. Contacts with the so-called hard drugs were mostly character isolated experiments. On academic board has been recorded activity by drug dealers. The second study looked at the issue of addictive behavior, it has obtained data from almost 2,500 respondents. Normally operated activities include work with computers, internet and mobile phone, which respondents use to surf the contents on the Web, reading e-mail, chatting, movement in social networks, phone calls and writing SMS messages.
