Přednáška s názvem Aktuální role keramiky a porcelánu v současné české moderní architektuře a veřejném prostoru je prezentací aktuální situace týkající se této oblasti v České republice. V první řadě jde o průzkum potenciálu a variant spolupráce architektů s výtvarnými umělci, kteří s keramikou pracují.V druhé řadě jde o zmapování poptávky ze strany projektantů i investorů. Příspěvek zároveň zahrnuje i konkrétní nejnovější realizace výtvarných děl z keramiky a porcelánu v soudobé české moderní architektuře. Záměrem je také představit zpětnou vazbu na portfolia silné generace tvůrců z období před „revolucí“ /1989/, která vznikala v odlišné společenské atmosféře za podpory režimu. Toto období bude prezentováno na dílech jednotlivých autorů, spolu s analýzou jejich děl, řešených témat, charakteristických keramických technik i technologií. Celkový obraz dotvoří i popis atmosféry doby vzniku díla i volba jeho umístění ve veřejném prostoru. Hlavním tématem příspěvku zůstává současný stav, a to aktuální tendence spolupráce výtvarníka a architekta na společném díle. Výzkum zahrne vliv na změny v chápání funkce artefaktu v prostoru, analýzu podílu výtvarných řešení právě z keramiky a porcelánu, případné součinnosti s jinými materiály, jejich využívání v nezvyklých řešeních, site specific atd. Rozdílnost těchto dvou koncepcí ve dvou odlišných režimech by měla sloužit jako celková reflexe i pro současnou situaci a potvrdit změny ve vnímání keramického díla v české moderní architektuře, možnosti udržitelnosti poptávky po práci českých autorů pracujících s porcelánem a keramikou a vize jejich případné budoucí spolupráce s architekty.

The lecture entitled The Current Role of Ceramics and Porcelain in Contemporary Czech Modern Architecture and Public Space is a presentation of the current situation concerning this area in the Czech Republic. First of all, it is a survey of the potential and variants of cooperation between architects and artists who work with ceramics. Secondly, it is a mapping of demand from designers and investors. The paper also includes concrete recent realization of works of art from ceramics and porcelain in contemporary Czech modern architecture. The intention is also to present feedback on the portfolios of a strong generation of creators from before the "revolution" (1989), which originated in a different social atmosphere with the support of the regime. This period is presented on the works of individual authors, together with an analysis of their works, the solved topics, characteristic ceramic techniques and technologies. The overall picture is completed by a description of the atmosphere of the time of creation of the work and the choice of its location in public space. The main topic of the paper remains the current state of affairs, namely the current tendency of cooperation between the artist and the architect on a common work. The lecture includes the influence on changes in the understanding of the function of artifact in space, analysis of the share of art solutions from ceramics and porcelain, possible synergy with other materials, their use in unusual solutions, site specific etc. overall reflection also for the current situation and confirm changes in the perception of ceramic works in Czech modern architecture, the possibility of sustainability of demand for the work of Czech authors working with porcelain and ceramics and the vision of their possible future cooperation with architects.
